And on a side note: Volt mortars for latin confed would be cool. or russia. or they could be secret lab infantry...

 

Aucally... lets take that idea one step further: minimum implementation, max reward: if you cap a secret lab, get monster tank plus an ol tech infantry. hows that?

I dont know what is the final fate of Apocs but i have to admit that they pretty much sucked outside the campaign.

Nobody said that the Apoc have been scrapped, it's just a worry that it didn't show up yet in the stolen tech roster. And the Apocalypse Tank, being based on the Mammoth, is an icon, a symbol of the C&C franchise, so it should be always present in one way or another.

Maybe actually Mastodon is originally from Apoc?? Like, Mammoth > Apoc > ??? tank similar in China (Foehn reveal trailer) > Mastodon

I would want to believe somehow Apoc has "ascended" in 3.3 into something else (maybe, hopefully), complete with its own lore in side-story campaigns

Catastrophe Tank is literally Apoc for all intents and purposes.

It's pretty much the Apocalypse Tank from Vanilla though but instead of another Barrel they get a Fire Port which is much more useful.

Did the boss imply that catastrophe will be rerolled into apocalypse? Was he joking, or was he serious?

 

Either way, I hope there is some way to preserve it. Being able to garrison the apocalypse would be the ultimate treat, even if the stats remain identical to the catastrophe and the change is merely cosmetic.
