Generally impossible. Reminder that many of Yuri's followers join him because of his ideas not to the fact that he "brainwash" them, the Proselyte is like most Psi-Corps/later Epsilon are Yuri's followers except that Yuri consider him as a close companion.

what I still wonder about is what is Libra's role in all of this ? 

Yuri said she is the ace up his sleeve and I doubt it's just her throwing her explosive shells at it or trying to mind control it (because as far as we know she's too mentally unstable to do that).

 

and if she is the one to power the mental omega device does that mean the device's purpose isn't global mind control ? or does the device break the rule to that and amplifies her abilities to do so ?

or what if it's the other way around ? what if the ENTIRE DEVICE is dedicated to Libra and making her stronger even more ?

why we dont say that libra have some sort of power that can stop an attack from any kind of chrono tech

Malver doesn't really follow Yuri, he's just a friend of Rashidi who happens to work with Yuri.
