Not sure if this has been reported yet or not, but in epsilon 5 of act 1 (Human Shield), losing a single spy causes mission failure even though there's more than enough to finish the mission.

IIRC there's only 3 of them, the rest are Conscripts. At least that was the case in 3.0 version. IMO there should be an extra Spy on Easy to make some room for possible mistake. And it makes little sense how Allies have the EXACT amount of Spies required to complete the mission, no more no less.

Actually, on Easy, all those conscripts should be spies. Just to have something in case you lose one or two. Or you just happen to mind control one of the snipers you have to eliminate, and that -instantly- snipes one of the spies, failing the mission.

What Solais said was what should've been done, a suggestion you may. Losing the mission on Easy just because you made a simple mistake (or the sniper is simply being stupid, in your case) is just annoying.

At least make it so the snipers don't auto acquire the spies or something. Like, put them behind fences, or simply don't spawn them before the snipers are down. That would make the mission far more linear.

Oh and dogs, lots of dogs. I had to tap deploy button a LOT just to get rid of them. Was lucky enough to get rid all of them using just a single adept

Humvees help a lot against dogs in the new version, such a nice addition.

Or just set whatever team the spies are on to be neutral to the player.

I don't think this has been reported yet here, but the neutral Abrams tanks near the barricade you're meant to reach in Enforcer actually attack your stuff (so getting them with an Engineer is painful)

Hi. Anyone encoutered this problem with the Happy Birthday soviet mission?

I tried the mission two times already and everytime I get Morales close to the airport, a bunch of rocketeers just kill him and I've got no way to save him.

The weird thing is that I'm also playing on easy (because I'm a noob).

Any help with that?

Just something I'm wondering. Is it discovered in-mission why the scorpion cell psychic amplifier was already damaged and I just missed it, or is that yet to be explained? I remember the original teaser for that mission in a news post hinting there was some special mysterious reason for it.

I think it would be done on purpose to distract the Allies from the London Fortress, and also it might be a Fake Psychic Amplifier too.

Or perhaps it was sabotaged

But you do capture a RA1 device. Unless Epsilon managed to stabilize it, like the Allies did. In a relatively short time.

The device has been found by Soviets under Steinstech lab ruins. Who knows what kind of modifications were made to it since the first war, maybe it was a testbed for some things later implemented in the new device?
