Uragan means "hurricane" in Russian, so Russians might be an important part of Bastion too. Besides, their base is located on Alaska and Kamchatka.

Quick Speculation: Volkov gets destroyed and rebuilt into a super flying cyborg. Receiving the name "Uragan"

Well, Yunru analyzed Volkov, and the cyborgs in the Chinese facilities are apparently based on that data. "VOLK"NET might really be based on Volkov, and "Uragan is a young sub-routine of the long-established VOLKNET A.I. that runs most of the Last Bastion's intelligence and security systems and has actually been created at the very last phase of the Bastion base's creation."

I think in the next two Soviet missions, we will find out what Yunru was doing, and it is pretty much probable that the Centurion Walker was also designed to be part of this cyborg army. And 3.3.3 might probably include at least the first Foehn Origin mission.

According to talk in Discord (was it Alstar?) Speeder said in IRC that 3.3.3 will include origin mission.

or at least somebody said it as far my memory serves

While we're at Foehn Origin missions, I think they are going to be much similar to Epsilon origin missions (like: secret operations lead to the establishment of the faction.)

Ther are possibly going be in same time period of very late act 02 campaign missions when Allies, Soviets finally start to understand that war against Epsilon is going to be lost and begin to form a last ditch defense organization (reminds me the city of Zion from the Matrix)

Few days ago I completed "Enforcers" coop mission and noticed one weird thing: Soviets for some reason use Epsilon version of Lasher Tanks instead of Lashers from Human Shield (they have both a different color and voiceset). Will this be fixed for lore consistency?

An another thing is that there are enemy Bulldog Tanks in The Gardener. How did they end up there?

What? Mission text specifically mentions that those are Soviet forces in Africa and they for some reason use Epsilon's Lashers although they have appeared only in Mooglight. Therefore Soviet forces in Africa should either use Lashers from Human Shield or Rhinos/Jaguars.

The Lashers are prototypes created by the Soviets and later discarded, so... maybe they were field testing them and abandoned them after Enforcers?
On the other hand, I'm not so sure about the Drillers, although the Chinese also had one at the end of Research Stroke, so... I guess they thought they didn't need something that can't compliment their frontline attacks?

They're Psicorps. Check Speeder's video description and the old comments. The implications are glaringly obvious.

Also, 'poisoning water' sounds like a method that would be used by a certain terrorist faction rather than the Russians, and that terrorist faction has some Soviet equipments in their arsenal, Tigrs being one of them.

In Thread of Dread, there's a house in the middle of the totally-not-Foehn-revolt base that's fenced off with Windbelts. Which I thought was very strange and obviously an intentional detail.

That might be what ??? was talking about, that no-one will take his/her home. Who might this be?

It's probably Yunru, because her centurion disappeared, most likely, it fled into that tunnel at the back of the base.

But I'm somewhat skeptical because if it were Yunru, couldn't the Russians easily identify the voice of a young teenage Chinese girl? I might be looking too deep into it though.

Side note: Mastodons from the trailer are nowhere to be seen.

Peasantframes instead of Knightframes and can't shoot air.

Windbelts are still here, yay!

Same here, I'm wondering where the Mastodons are.

So the Foehn Revolt has already started? ._.

4 missions and 2 updates away from Babel, let's see what happens.

My guess? That was VOLKNET. And yes, the way these guys were colored, I'd say that Yunru was already breaking away from Dearest China. Foehn isn't far at all.

Mastodons can be seen during the initial cutscene, standing near the tunnel entrance. They are mostly blocked by text messages though, and thus are easy to miss. They dissapear after you get battlefield control.
