Surprised at Yunru's attitude through the mission. You would think she would feel bad for killing hundreds of people, but she's all sassy towards the proselyte, and taunts him numerous times. I love how even Yuri got pissed off and deployed Libra. Also, like in Thread of Dread, there is no Mission Accomplished screen. Yunru: 2 - Proselyte and Soviet General: 0

Indeed, taunting all the while her men got massacred is very much out of her character, unless her plan was exactly to piss off Yuri, and force his hand.

Yunru's character is mostly sass. She acts like how a stereotypical rebellious teenage girl would.

Also she's massacring epsilon forces. It's kinda hard to feel sympathy for them when Yuri has committed more war crimes than he has clones in his army.

No, what I mean is that Yunru supposedly hates working for the PLA and doesn't carry lethal weapons because she's a pacifist. That doesn't go well with her gloating. Sass is one thing, but this is another.

Also, while watching Foehn's #1 mission, I noticed Yunru having the "Why am I not in the centurion?" quote. It should be taken out from this mission, as the Centurion got rekt just before it. And indeed, unless more Centurions will be built, the quote should be taken out in future missions as well.

I guess Yunru left centurion because she must go pee, big scientist always forget about simple and important basic things like toilet in centurion.

Previously, she detonated that MIDAS bomb, that surely killed some of her people too. The mo site claims that she is a pacifist and she is forced to work for the Chinese, but it the mission she talks like this is some kind of game to her. Maybe she's finally gone mental.

I decided to try out Unthinkable first, and I must say I'm quite interested in seeing where this is going. A few things about the lore under the spoiler tag, you have been warned:

Mostly in it for the lore. Although, I do enjoy basebuilding as well.

From Nobody Home's briefing and description, I can assume that VOLKNET is the player character of the Origin campaign, since it mentions an "experimental artificial intelligence".

On second thought, I actuall like where Yunru is going. I don't know if it's intentional or not, but her attitude in the latest missions suggests that she's going from an idealistic young girl to a bitter, somewhat damaged woman. Knowing that she's behind Foehn, suddenly the "dark GDI" aspect of the faction makes sense. Yunru first was a pacifist, refusing to use lethal weapons, wishing to do science for peaceful purposes. The faction she's creating, on the other hand, is all about using state-of-the-art science to exterminate people with the utmost efficiency. Right now, her character development is so subtle that it can be mistaken for oversight of her original personality, but if it gets further emphasised in the future, it will really add the so much needed depth to Foehn's background.

Sooo, the cutting-edge , incredibly long and costly project was built just like that on the Moon? So why won't the Yunru begin mass production as well?(Or maybe she will, eventually.)

Why are there Ravens on the moon? Weren't they just gene modded animals? How can they breathe, let alone fly in the vacuum?

We do have to consider the first Foehn mission briefing. Yunru asked Volknet to not gather data about how many lives were lost when Kashmir Home was destroyed. Second mission briefing also mentions how they are considering casualties even on both sides, which is actually a lot more humane than even what the Allied were showing towards civilians or human life in general. Like, the Revolt must do what must be done, but they are still at least considerate, for now.

True, the Allies had taken a bigger measure by Act II and will do everything to defeat Yuri. Soviets are pretty much the same.

To the Foenh, I think they know that the real enemy is Yuri's forces and everyone else is just... well yeah.

Anyways.

And a space suit made for ravens? Come on. But just for the sake of arguement, let's say that Ravens have both oxygen supply and a space suit that fits them like a second skin, like Brutes appearently have. There's still no air on the moon, so flapping their wings won't do any good if they want to fly.

Stupidest question but...

Spoiler

In 3.2 there was a unused unit, that was also featured on the "Zoo map", named Cyborg Boris. I think the Space Commando uses the same sprite, albeit recolored to fit the Epsilon theme, and it also has different weapons.

I honestly don't understand Yunru's rationale for not wanting to destroy the Beacon in Kill the Messenger. With the Chinese under the control of Epsilon, she'll have to fight through the army anyway. Destroying the beacon wouldn't change that, but it would have the Soviet Forces fight with Epsilon as well to relieve the pressure from her.

Granted, a good reason for not going after it would be that it would jeopardize the main objective of getting Yunru to safety with distractions. It's literally in the opposite corner compared to your forces! But Yunru seems to have arrived to the same tactical conclusion for a very weird reason.
