About what the_kid say i dont agree.
Cd is curently a MOD and no one said it looks better than eny other mod and if it does it is only for the person who thinks so, it his opinion(there migth be many of those).

Enyone could have personal opinion or represent the people with the same interests but the problem is that he doesnt always represent their interest.

I myself found quiet interesting things at some things some modes have that no one other mode have (including cd) but they are so in some parts of the creation of the mod. In general I didnt found things extremly good.
Everyhing is good at something than something else but not the general aspect. I mean by this "general aspect" that when you look at mod and see one nice unit it makes the mod good with some aspects but then you see all units looking good you say the game is looking good in general aspect.

Many mods have those "some aspects" better than cd but in general cd looks better to me as a whole thing.
In other words I prefer to see the whole mod good than to see here and there some extraordinery things(even if they are better than thpose of the whole mod).

*This transletion to general aspect and some aspects I just created in order for peoeple to understand me.

I would like to mention again that cd is currently a mod so it can get out only as free mod or not get out at all (and only gideonx will have it)

About what commerade j told I agree but not fully since ea "puted crap on the cnc name" by giving the cnc name to a game with no conection to cnc storyline (even ra2 has conection to cnc by ra1).

I would like to say here it worthless for me to contineu trying people to argue about cd since then those people would say that I only saying how good cd is and it better than other mods. I wouldnt say that but I would say people could have their own opinion about cd and evrything but it worth sometimes to check cd. if I ever thougth cd is going to be better than something it was the game generals itself that many modes are better than it .but it would be extremly good/interesting if cd will become a game then we can realy compare it to generals.

For those people who would like to contineu argu I would ask pleaseto read the whole topic from the start to the end.

Two things. Number one, everyone, please stop bashing Crimson Dawn. I realize you may not like it, but try to keep things civil (or more civil, either way). Two, to that?, please try to improve your grammar a bit. It's rather hard to understand what you mean when you say modes (mods), and things like that. Also, punctuation is your friend.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

EDIT: ah... I missed the "to me" this is an opinion of one person, and I can honor that...

most of us have played cnc or ra1 and there expansion packs, the hardcore have even got Dune I and II running on there old systems and made mods for them.

The community has EXP but they don't brag about it which makes most the community quite friendly.

Mods developers which I dispise are D-Day forums, just try to register and u will understand why.

i had rengade but i gived it to a friend and now I have generals and zh.
I may get emperor soon from my friend.

why you talking about those games if the topic about cd?

cos this is about EXP in CNC. Many of us are

1) older
2) played more CNC

you turn up from nowhere and start posting on every possible forum that CD is the best and will be commerical. To many people you were implying were are the best, screw u statement.

:p Now you are going to base on personal basis  , trying to find info about me. you should ashame yourself, since you only proved by this you respect others only by who they are and not by what they did.

Enougth to piss me off since I am saying to the milion time that CD is mod. many think it looks good and I personaly think it worth checking.

Abouty cd being commersial I dont understand what u mean? that it may become a game?

It migth be I told something wrong in the start of the topic but it is because I didnt knew correcly what cd was then but now I know and I already told that milion times already!

we know that IT IS A MOD, that is exactly what we have been saying for the past eight pages of this thread, you don't need to SHOUT

Abouty cd being commersial I dont understand what u mean? that it may become a game?

YES, isn't that what you said a good 9 pages before?

and for the last time, let the team speak, if they dont, then fine, that's their problem, it's better to know nothing than to know the wrong thing

It migth be I told something wrong in the start of the topic but it is because I didnt knew correcly what cd was then but now I know and I already told that milion times already!

see what i mean? maybe other things that you're saying now are wrong too, and will take another 9 pages to fix....
really, just shut up about CD and talk about other things, gaming, modding, life, sex, anything; just stop acting like a PR manager for this mod, if that's what you want, apply for that job with the team, then you can give out official information and people will actually BELIEVE you.

i know very well from experience that good reputation is harder than anything else to earn, so if you love CD, just stop this

now that the team has finally arrived everyone is silent... comeon guys ask something...

My Question:
Is there a chance that the mod may be released much like the other mods(.big without having to download gigs of files and create a new folder and what not) from what I've read about it, no... but I'd like to hear otherwise if its going to happen, because I would be able to download CD with my 56k if not...

I thought 56k was slow, yet useable. Then in rained on my wire and now i can only get 28k. This is a sad speed not move at. Gives time to read books, like my keboard.

Well I am not 100% sure about how big the mod will be, I do have a suggestion I will tell General Gideon. My idea is to have 1 large download for the broadband users, and have like 3 or 4 smaller downloads for the others. That way it will be more accessable to the rest of the fans.

if they are complete packages... I use getright for my larger downloads so I can resume them... so I find no point in downloading 4 different files, when I can just pause and resume if I have to get offline...

and ive never seen generals mods making you download "gigs of files", heck generals itself is barely a gig!

i think it would come out to be just a couple of hundred megs, or even less

thankyou for clearing this up.

I'm sorry for bashing but had to be done cos I falsely believed you were unintentionally flaming the community.

I would advise making a 56k website which just shows images, etc and have stuff to download.

Also can you clear up some information regarding your new model tick tank as people are confused if it will actually work
