- Faramir and Boromir already have the armor thing you were talking about, Merry and Pippin are summoned, so they can't have that kind of powers (but maybe in some later version they are buildable...)

Understood, hadn't noticed about :crazed:

- WK is just too cool in his armor, I won't change that :p

I think he's cool too, it was just an idea to make him more unique

- I see no reason why Evil Men would summon Goblins, they might have Orc Allies summoned by Boldog, but not Goblins... Evil Men have Drogoth because they are allied with the dragons (or Were-worms) of the Last Desert

What about changing Drogoth with a were-worm, just like the elves summon eagles and train them in the fortress

- Buffing Draugluin  Isn't he strong enough, especially when he uses his Invincibility power?

I know that he's extremaly strong but what about reducing his damage and buffing his health?
Thank you Ithron for the avatar

It's reaaly a great mod but what is isengard doing there ?? i suggest (that will be a lot of work ) to separate elves of cuivienen , dwarves of red mountains and hildorien men into other factions . it's wars of the east mod so that will be ( in my opinion) great

Isengard is here just because Angmar is here as well  - true, the primary purpose of WotE is adding new factions to the game and a new campaign (Dorwinion/Evil Men), but if we're already at work, the team has long decided to make not only to add new factions, but improving the other factions greatly as well.

As for "seperations", sorry but NO. That would mean a LOT of hard work which is NOT neccesary, at all. Unless Ithron considers to add a mini-faction system (for which, there' quite low chance at the time), we will not make the different factions seperate from each other.

"Well, I can't argue with that - modding IS hard. But what would have become of games like Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Dungeon Siege, Half-Life 1-2, Neverwinter Nights and BfME 1-2 if we, modders, weren't there ? They would have long been forgotten. Modding is hard, but it's an honorable thing." - MorrisB

talking about the purpose..it looks good to have one, but tbh planning out things before you do them is soo boring. just making the greatest mod ever sounds reasonable to me.
and btw ive never understood why we would need a campaign (except that the mappers are nice guys and visit the staff forums from time to time). after all, whats actually fun is playing mods against humans (or comp when your bored bar is red).

Yup, maybe you're right. Whatever we, modders do, it will be still a game - a tool of fun. And this is our work: providing fun stuff to others, like true game developers do.

...but this doesn't mean that I'm gonna' take that text from my Current Project: "Helping to make "WotE" to be the perfect mod"

You don't have to be good at programming nor at coding. I see you are a new guy, so you probably don't know about how did I become a Staff member.

Let me tell you: I was nothin' but a loosy new member with less than 50 posts when I came to WotE the first time. I could not do anything "special"*: I couldn't make models, skins, maps, icons, artwork, NOTHING AT ALL. All I had were some ideas for units and a strong will.

I became Staff member within LESS than two weeks.

Let this be a good lesson to anyone: even without proper skills, you CAN prevail.

Of course, if you know how to do stuff is a good thing

*...and I'm still unable :p

Believe me, it does take a lot of time... But once you get onto the testing stage, it seems that it's worth of the time

I'm in the same situation and i agree that modders are really important and respect for their work . I have a question , from what activity should I begin ??

It's all up to you :p but if you want advice, then I could tell you that good artists and coders are usually welcome at every mod.

I have a suggestion , why don't you use mumakil anims for oliphaunt horde and one more . If i remember right that bear neutral thing on map stands up and looks on both sides , then he falls down . why dont you speed up a little that looking process . Of course i can be wrong.

I guess Ithron will add an animation to Oliphaunt Horde when it will be a single unit :) as for the bear... well, I dunno, I guess it would look funny if it would be the same animation but hastened up. Of course, it's up to Ithron to decide. Still, thanks for this idea.

I dont know if its possible to make the bear swing the arm like the summoned wolf in Angmar , and that will be not so funny . Then add some metaimpact and done if the first step is possible
