Wouldn't it seem logical for Shelob to have the ability to eat orcs and goblins to restore health? After all, orcs were her primary diet in her lair above Cirith Ungol.

Speaking of Shelob, she will also get the Summon Spiderlings to herself, and we'll find some other coolness for the Spell Book (for Beta V)

So maybe they could be a semi-elite unit, almost as powerful as a Soldier of Gondor (champions), and the Chieftans being mini-heroes that travel individually?
Just my two cents,

But regardless if we find it I'm sure Sûl will come up with some excellent coding soultion She WILL get that power too, for Beta V Shelob is gonna be awesome when she's done, hehe
About the Gobbos: we have two more unused units for them, that will probably be added for Beta V, and that is:
- Goblin Berserker (single powerful unit)
- Goblin Shaman (some kind of buff and maybe a little magic) This unit could also be used/renamed to Chieftain...

Shelob isn't a part of 'Moria' and so she doesn't really fit any more. (The same could be said about fire drakes, and mountain giants.) I've often heard people want to call the faction "The Wilds," which would have allowed for the beast units. And spiders are very Tolkien. >>>>But I suppose as long as Shelob remains in the faction, it could be said she webs the fortress, produces the spiderling expansions, and provides the poison... Couldn't the spider lair be put back in just for the spiderling horde to support Shelob though. The riders can be left out. You could give Shelob "Sire's Leadership" to spiderlings or something. (Although, Shelob would probably eat her young...)
Speaking of Shelob, is she able to climb "hills" like in 1.06? It made sense that Shelob could do this. Just like the fight with Sam.
Can you make the spiders walk over hills like Shelob could too? If Shelob can, so can they? (Of course, if Shelob can't, neither can they....)
I'm all for porting the ROTWK stuff if you can into SEE. The Goblin warg riders are ok, and the time spent on them must have been ages, but Goblin wolf riders would be great.
Thanks for only moving the spiders and riders to the lairs, despite what seems to be on this forum an absolute loathing for their creation. Spider riders were a cool idea, despite never being mentioned in Tolkien. The goblins do lose a mounted archer unit though. (Unless someone tames the lair.) And they can be used by all evil factions now. (I believe all the evil factions have untamed allegiance.)

- Shelob fits best in Moria, cause Mordor is "full" already and Moria misses a LOT of heroes compared to others... Plus, like you said, Moria still have a lot of Spider feeling to it. AND Spiderlings are still in. And much as you said, Shelob could be the one that gives the Goblins the poison and the Web Cocoon and such things... The Spiderpit is now a Creep instead, on random for some maps =)
- Shelob can climb walls yes, and has been able to do that since Beta IV =) She can even climb where no other unit can go, like on cliff walls! We might do the same for Spiderlings in Beta V!
- Wolf Riders was voted down by the lore folks of T3A. They say there were no "real" volfes in Middle Earth, only Wargs. SO blame them... Personally, I wanted Wolf Riders!
- Yes, Untamed Allegience will get them under your control again =)
I'll make sure that the upcoming Troll Cage lvl10 hero for Mordor, will have Untamed Allegience though =)

And I'm with you Nazgul. When I read the Hobbit, I don't picture Peter Jackson's/Weta Workshop's version of a warg. (Anyone else think they are hyenas?)
Perhaps my "Sire Leadership" idea could be a "secret" bonus given to people with Shelob, and who bothered to use tame allegiance on a spider lair. (Do we see riders circling the lair?) Secret in the same sense as Haldir's "Elven Strike" ability.

-Mordor is incredibly hero based, along with their mass numbers. Moria needs a similiar advantage, but not necessarily with heroes.
-Moria is perhaps the most mobile force on the battlefield. They could use another monster-type unit, particularly of the cave troll variety (last time i was here there was a hero in the works, dun't know if that's still bein worked on) and melee-centered.
-Moria is startin to look really uniform, and definitely unique from the other factions. In fact all factions are starting to play very different from each other. Moria is by far in the top 2 for most unique.
so...When good ol' GG gets put in, i think it'd be really cool if he was some kind of magicy guy. Sure he could still sport his sword and stick-o-skulls, but because of his lack of mobility (due to his odd green girth) he could be granted a few pyroey skills...like randomly setting people on fire.
oh...and the goblins could really use a pair of speedy heroes IMO. their fastest hero is drogoth..and he's not really all that much of a hero. Two fast warrior or archer gobs (Azog & bolg, maybe?) would really help keep the aggressiveness up there.

Azog and Bolg is still in the works. Bolg will be the first to be added though, in Beta 4.6... Bolg will be a big and buff guy with heavy poison as special skill =) Next is Azog, and after that we might redo the Drakes cause I hate them... They damage everything including their own allies... and structures, and there's simply no good way to keep them under control - BUT - to make them into Sentrys!!!
