i wouldn't advise you to take away the goblin warg riders.make them the albino warg riders.in the game 'The Third Age' in the Western and Eastern region of Moria, there are albino wargs.the movie never said anything about albino wargs, neither did the book,so i think it will be okay to add the Albino Warg.

:) No they're not... =p

The issue of weather to use Wargs or Wolves for Moria has been a long debated one. But since I at the time didn't want to use RotWK items, it had to be Wargs. Many ppl say that Wolves could work pretty good in regards to the lore, and personally I wanted Wolves to differ them more from Isengard's Warg Riders. However, the models that Lauri made is far to awesome to ever consider removing. That would mean we'd have both Wargs and Wolves as "cavalry". But we'll see... At least the Moria Wargs are grey, and the Isen ones are brown :p

On the goblin walls, they could have a "postern gate" with a hole in the ground at each side. This could be their only gate, possibly, and be used for cave trolls and other units that cant climb over them.

Well, the Wolves should be gray (actually grey, that's what Tolkein had :p ) but don't use Angmar wolves, because that's what i'm going to do in my mod :crazed:

Yeah, personally I hate the Postern Gates for any faction, but that's only cause they're unrealistic. The model should have been made like a tunnel instead of a big door :p

The idea however is good. Gobline need that indeed! And postern gates will make the AI work more freely I beleive (on those maps that it will build walls, so they don't box themselves in) *noted*

About the Wargs/Wolves... I'm still not sure if I'm gonna add wolfes... I might, and if so, the warg troops could be "elite" units and the wolf riders more of regular cavalry. And it's open source, so noone can claim models and units for their mod exclusivly, sorry

:thumbsupsmiley: I know that. Note the :xcahik_:

Anyway, I think the Wolves and Wargs need to look different enough or they shouldn't both be in.

Off course, that's the general idea, and that's why I would use the RotWK ones, in that case, as they look nothing like Wargs :D

my problem with the RotWK wolves is that they're too small, and the orcs on them aren't lanky enough to be goblins....they're too fat. Plus, i think the gobbies are better with wargs....they just need a feature that makes them drastically different from isengard.....and a little more diverse weaponry would be cool, too....but just as a finishing touch. =D

NO. I'm saying the orcs aren't lanky, as in skinny and long-legged, enough to be skinned to really look like goblins. The wargs are fine, imo.

hehe, much more complicated than that....you'd have to scale the model and make the wolves unnaturally big. you'd have to edit a mounted model...which is EXTREMELY frustrating, and you have to map a new reskin.

I vote keep Lauri's awesome goblin wargs.

:shiftee2:

Anyway... Wolves are already added/in SEE now... but as you can see in the RotWK thread in News section, I've already said that we will change the rather obese and chubby Orc models into Lauri's WICKED lua gobbos :p

I have to disagree on the wolves size though. Actually they're too BIG! A wolf should be much smaller than a Warg which is basically the size of a horse ;)

guys,in this confusion,i was talking about wargs actually, not wolves.it still kinda turned out funny, because i thought Garrison Nomad meant wolves, but then i found out that he is a beta tester,so then i understood he was talking about the wolves, and not the wargs.
