Not units. Theyre best brought from their unit production building. But hero maybe. I cant think of many dunedain heroes that would fit. Maybe halbarad? or i guess not because he was round at Wotr. Idk lol :p

Yeah - that is cool. HALBARAD - I'll go for it :cool2: Totally forgotten him. If I do remember he's in a way comparable to Gondor's Damrod... right? I think it doesn't matter that he was around later. He was part of the "grey company" and a cousin of Aragorn - so he should be avaiable.
Great idea :thumbsupsmiley:

Ar can also be used as a prefix for highly or noble. Anyways, Arnor's only possibly special hero would be Glorfindel. If I recall correctly, Elrond's getting the boot. The Knights and a few other elite units should be unlocked not by spell, but by buying some new subfaction or what not.

Arnor has three subfactions...Elves, hobbits, and 'dunedain'.

And on dunedain, it's just a name change...we can deal with that later.

"Purchase Cardolan Alliance"
Ally with the Dunedain guarding the Barrow-downs after Cardolan's fall.

Rhudaur was taken, as you recall, at Argeleb's death, and Cardolan fell soon after Amon Sul. A remnant of the Cardolanis with Numenorean blood stayed in the Barrow-downs, where they fought off everyone they could. However, they were wiped out by the Great Plague.

Also sounds like a great idea for me. Like if you purchase that "Dunedain-Alliance" upgrade you'll get Halbarad plus some Dunedain-Captains with some special abilities.
Or something like that :cool2:

Besides: That Dunedain Longshot really does not work!! Yesterday i got totally overrun while finding out this ;)

Anyways - Robnkarla, Yoda and to all the others that are responsible for this Mod: Keep going guys. That mod has been good :cool2: , at the moment it is great ;) and I don't have any doubts that the mod will be amazing in the future. So just keep working - 10/10 points :good: :p

But is that a time-mix? I mean, Halbarad was born about 1000 years after that Arnor which is now in game

That was something that EA made up. There were two Argelebs. The first was the 7th king of Athedain during the years 1349-56. He had hopes for a reunited kingdom, but had them dashed when Rhudaur invaded Arthedain. It was latter discovered that Rhudaur was in league with the WK. He built a line of fortifications on the weather hills to repulse invasion and support Amon Sul. He died repelling one of these attacks.
Roughly two hundred years latter there was a Argeleb II. He ruled from 1589-1670. He was the one that allowed the hobbits to have the shire. 300 hundreds years after that the north kingdom was finished off by the WK.
The fall of Arnor happened pretty much nothing like the EA campaign.

No, I meant Argeleb I. He was killed, Rhudaur was taken. His son Arveleg fortified the Weather Hills but was slain by assaults from Angmar. However, the Palantir of Amon Sul was saved and borne back to Fornost. Meanwhile, the WK attacked Cardolan. I guess I neglected to mention Arveleg... :good: but I was thinking of him. :p

Umm what you just said didn't happen. Argeleb was the one that fortified the whether hills. Rhudaur was already evil by then. Rhudaur was already evil. I wasn't invaded by the WK the rulers just became traitors to men and joined sides with him. It is true that Argeleb was slain by invading forces of the WK and Rhudaur but it happened nothing like the EA campaign. His son then succeded him and rallied the Nations of Arthedain and Cardolan. Aided by a force from Lindon They pushed back the force that had taken the Whether hills in the invasion. He maintained the line until an invasion in 1409 where he died defending the watch tower of Amon Sul. This was the invasion that pushed into Cardolan and finished it off. Then later a plague came up from the south where it had already killed many and killed the remaining people of Cardolan.
