Just play with ring heroes off then.

- BASIC GOBLINS (sword bow and spear) they are allright. Maybe add goblins drummer that would give attack boost (not armor boost, goblins don't defend themselves).
- WARGS: where are they? They should be the backbone of Misty mountains goblins they are there main allies! They came to the battle of 5 armies with orcs on their back. Didn't they also attack the fellowship near Caradhras pass. I read an interview of Del Toro in a french newspaper, where he said the wargs from the Hobbit will be a lot more wolf-like than those from the Two Towers. So you could use Angmar wolf model. It would be cool to also fit Del toro's movie graphic style. There should be at least a warg horde, warg riders and warg heroe (not a warg rider heroe) And they should be stronger than isengard ones
- SPIDERS: Should they stay or should they go? With warg as cavalry they should be a little redundant. Maybe keep the spider lair upgrade of the fortress or change it for a warg lair. At least remove Shelob (what the hell is she doing thousands of miles away from her home if you want to keep her make her a summoned unit for mordor not goblins) and spider rider (i think they just look ridiculous). If they stay have the spider with special abilities to make them unique. Keep the one with poison and add one with a web ability that slow down ennemy units and another one wich can produce eggs from wich tiny spiders comes out for a small amout of time.
- HALF-TROLLS: Either remove them or make them smaller and call them hobgoblins (they do appear in the Hobbit)But then only have either swords or spears but not both and limit their number
- TROLL & MOUNTAIN GIANTS: keep them maybe make mountain giant a little weaker or expensive for gameplay reasons.
- DRAGONS & MONSTERS: I think they are really cool. Goblins need those very powerfull units. Maybe just exchange model from the heroe walking dragon and the summoned dragon or make the summoned dragon look and be stronger. The Balrog should also be made more resistance and should be a goblin only power (no Mordor Balrog please it kills goblins uniqueness of overpowerfull units) . Maybe have a permanent Balrog as a ring hero instead of Sauron. imo The summoned dragon should be the choice for a killable unit that do a large amount of damage whereas the balrog should be nearly indestructable but do fewer damages. Keep also the Wirm and the Watcher they are cool. For the drakes, they are too numerous limit them to one brood and remove the large drake.
- BUILDINGS: I don't like how they look. They remind me some stange strawberry cake. But changing them would be what would need the largest amount of work I believe.
I'd like goblins to be a creeping faction with large battalions of weak goblins and wargs and few but really powerfull monsters. I want their lack of intermediate units to be their weakness. As heroes they should have quite weak but cheap goblins and wargs heroes and really expensive and powerfull dragons. Scums and Dragon but nothing in between. I'm soory but I don't like your troll heroes.

Although a simple reskin won't be enough to make them better.

As for spider riders, they're getting the boot to the inn. I'd like to see half trolls leave too, replaced by Bolg's Bodyguard, and maybe Bolg too

Goblin buidlings excluding the Fortress in the middle are in clockwise order: Goblin Hovels (where goblins are spawned), Warg Pit (trains Wargs and Warg Riders), Tunnels, Sentry Tower, Tresure Trove, Spider Pit (trains Spiders, not Spider-Riders), Troll Cave (trains Trolls and Giants).
Fortress in the middle of the image is fully upgraded, complete with Bat Cloud, Rock Armour (replacement for Web cocoon, increases fortress Armour), Jagged spikes (represented by Spike Barricade (not present in screenshot)), and Drums of Moria (the drums on either side of the Fortress, I thought as an alternative to Dragon's nest, a pair of drums that when used generate a damage boost to all units on Map, or just an extra upgrade)).
Fortess expansions include Warg dens (represented by Wargs in a rocky outcrop), Gian Sentry, Burrows (represented by small tent), and Arrow Tower.
