hmm i think this is simple to make ( if its possible ) and still good looking, use it as example :
"From this seal shall arise the doom of men,"
"who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our fire as their own."
"Blindly they build their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit."
"Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control."
"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."
"Tremble, mortals, and despair! Doom has come to this world!"

Perhaps one of the heroes could have an ability or a pp power where every dead unit in a horde is replaced by a skeleton/undead/etc guy in the horde that's like everybody else in the horde but with more armor and poison damage? And perhaps these guys could slowly lose health over time?
Great idea thats pretty cool.
-Edmund Burke
"Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death and judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends.
-John Ronald Reuel Tolkien

Walking skeletons?

Ya, my reaction too. This time, I'm going to have to go with the lore on this one. I know that I tend to go with a gameplay choice in these kind of situations but there were no Animated Skeletons in Middle-Earth or in Arda from what I remember. Same with MOTE and the Goblins having little dragons... Wrong thread. I read the Silmarillion a long time ago so I quickly checked "The Encyclopedia of Arda" and "Thain's Book" for some answers and I couldn't find any. This isn't extensive research but those two sites basically cover most of the lore (or they atleast give you the general idea for something) and I am not in the mood to put anymore effort into it.
Anyways, Animated Skeletons weren't in the books (to my knowledge) and they definitely weren't in the films. There's not really much of a reason to add them into the mod. I do like Dojob's idea of having dead units being replaced by Skeletons, but my only suggestion to that would be replacing the skeletons with Wights.
I really enjoyed Myrdin's idea of the WK taking two different "paths". I liked the essence of that idea and I think that it should be played up somehow into Angmar. I would suggest something but I'm far too tired for making suggestions.
