For 3.0, tech outposts should be able to have a build radius around them, as that was the original purpose of the structure. Not as much as Expansion posts though.

I would like to see a unit for each side which is smaller than an MCV and starts off with a tiny build radius that expands the longer it is deployed. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if this will be done in Ares. Of course, it doesn't provide buildings on its own.

I think it´s a outpost which. with the time, the build radius incrase.

So, on a long battle, you would be able to build anywere on the battlefield? :huh:

Brunez is correct. Well, there will be limitations of course to how far it can expand. This idea isn't really mine, Speeder proposed it earlier.

Well, I'll explain:

A lot of people have suggested in the past to bring expansion post-like units to the mod so that you didn't have to build the expensive, but most importantly, cumbersomely large MCV.

The problem is that if you allowed this, they would be used for easy base crawling among other things as you would get a large amount of build space instantly. Imagine if I simply deployed a small expansion post unit near your base, and had a War Factory and Centurion both at 98%?

If you first deploy it, and it takes time to actually get enough space to build, for instance, a War Factory, you could effectively balance it out as the opponent would have a chance to destroy it.

About the expansion post issue, you can also make it deploy very slowly like in C&C3.

Not possible in RA2. Deploying is always at the same speed.

-Faster thank the lasher by 1 point.
-Less hitPoints (25-50).
-No turret.
-Primary:100mm nose gun.
-Secondary:Hmg-gun.
-More sight by 1 point.
-Can be Sealthed when not in motion ( if Possible)
-Primary Wepom Gun Range 6.

I don't think stealth while not moving is possible yet, but that is a pretty neat design.

As for the side bars, in my opinion, they should all be more unique as only the Soviet one really stands out. But that's up to Speeder to decide.

No, because the modified old Soviet sidebar is used by Epsilon.
